The NBA finals still matter! During the summer months most of us aren’t very concerned with basketball. The outdoor baseball diamonds grab our attention, as well as vacations, golf, fishing, and other leisure activities.
However the recent Nielsen television ratings for the week of June 3rd through the 9th prove that sports fan still care about who the NBA champion is.
The Spurs and Heat game 2 match-up attracted the attention of 14.6 million viewers. Over 3 million more viewers than the next closest TV show, The Voice, which drew 11.3 million viewers.
So the question isn’t, are you watching, it is who are you cheering for, the spurs or the heat?
